The project consisted of the total refurbishment of the mews house located in the Belsize Conservation Area, including a new sculptural staircase to link the ground and first floor to the extended accommodation under the roof. 

Natural light was brought deep into the floors by a glass section of floor and well placed roof lights above the stairwell. 

Thermal comfort was improved by a well-insulated and under-floor heated new ground floor and a new roof.  A new kitchen, new bathrooms, a games room and a study completed the modernisation of the house into a stylish and comfortable family home.
